About the iPhone or expensive brick article; locking phones in general is extorting money from the very people that service providers clain to “serve”. How cares if someone uses xyz company or abc company. Offset the cost of the phone to get us in, charge us if I leave early, then leave us alone. The best service provider should win, not the one that can make it the hardest for their customers to leave. This is not an Apple iPhone issue, it’s just that Apple is smart enough to tie their device to their service. And if anyone thinks that Apple doesn’t consider it their device then they have not been through the activation process that uses iTunes to activate the iPhone. At the end of the day the market will dictate what it wants and Apple will over deliver as usual. For now this article is fluff to get eyeballs in front of ads. AT&T probably appreciates the protection of market share, but it really is more to Apples advantage if every carrier can service the device. Then everybody could use the iPhone and then Apple can try to convert those users from PC to Mac. It might sound like a far fetched plan, but once you use the iPhone it is easy to want more from your other devices. Just MHO.

Love the new format. Really love the little corny music in the beginning.
