Podcasting and Astronomy news
September 26th, 2007 Posted in PodcastToday I talk about the Podcasting and New Media Expo, video podcasts on your TiVO, Podango’s purchase of Gigavox Audio Lite and some astronomy news.
From Paul Colligan’s site, here’s how to get video podcasts on your TiVO:
- Go to TiVo Central.
- Go to “Find Programs.”
- Go to “TiVoCast” (or “Download TV and Movies” on some systems).
- Choose the program you’d like to receive (PodShow TV, or any of our affiliated shows).
- Choose “Get Season Pass” from the show menu. It’s that simple!
- Every new episode will automatically download to your TiVo box, and appear in your “Now Playing List” just like regular television recordings.

You should use the levelator before you add the background music. When ever you pause, the music shoots up in volume and frightens me.

It’s actually GarageBand that does that. I’ll have to see if there’s a way to work around it.
