5 Easy and Inexpensive Ways to “Go Green”
June 2nd, 2008 Posted in PodcastA recent podcast by my buddies over at Geeks & God challenged me to come up with 5 easy ways that you can “go green”. I wanted my list to be low-tech, practical and inexpensive. Most of the tips in today’s podcast cost you zero dollars. All of them will save you money and help out the environment at the same time. For the record, they are:
- Install a clothesline and dry you clothes outside
- Bring a reusable mug to work for your beverages instead of using up all those cups.
- Brown-bag it! Driving to lunch wastes gas!
- Wash and reuse those Zip-loc bags
- Don’t speed.
All of these tips, except for the first one, cost you nothing and they will help you to save money alomg with helping our environment. Do you have any clever or inexpensive ways to “go green” AND save money? Leave me a comment and let me know!
