“Pastor Appreciation Month”
Sorry I got a bit long winded, but it is all good!
Once again a BIG Thank You to Bryan Briges!
Webster defines Pastor as:
a, noun. [L. from pasco, pastum, to feed.]
1. A shepherd; one that has the care of flocks and herds.
2. A minister of the gospel who has the charge of a church and congregation, whose duty is to watch over the people of his charge, and instruct them in the sacred doctrines of the Christian religion.
I was a bit surprised that pastor is not found in the NIV and only once in the King James – Jeremiah 17:16 As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee.
My prayers go out to Borg, Pat, and Ruth Ann! And THANK YOU to Barry Miller, Tim Mead and Rasin Asian our MLM pastors!

This is just a special “RAVE” not about much but with a visit from, Deacon, Alexis and Jamie Jr. who are sleeping over tonight! It is so good to be able to have the grand kids here even though I do get very very tired!

Luke Chapter 18 verses 9 – 14 - To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: 10 “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: `God, I thank you that I am not like other men–robbers, evildoers, adulterers–or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ 13 “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, `God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ 14 “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. Just as we are told in - Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
No one knows the day we will be called to death! Are you walking with God so physical death on earth is not the end, but the beginning!.
