Whats the deal with people who are being blessed in a second marriage while others seem to not be blessing for sticking out their first?

I am reminded of two things - first, something a reknowned apologist - Ravi Zacharias - said (paraphrased): “For all legitimate pleasure, you pay the price up front.”. Second, the hymn “Trust and Obey”: “Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share, The message is twofold - first, those that struggle with ANYTHING and don’t seem to be blessed quite often have great treasure in heaven. Second, on the issue of marriage, trust and obey (God and each other) are two key components that, if they were present in all marriages, would prevent the vast number of divorces (all?). |
