Quite a topic…but I’m not sure I fully agree with some of your comments on the tree of life. Not that it isn’t good, but there is something more to it than I’ve heard explained. Something God said as He kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden is a little hard for me to understand:

[i]And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever[/i]:
[b]Genesis 3:22[/b]

Why would God block Adam and Eve from life after their fall? And why wasn’t the tree of life mentioned or even a concern BEFORE Adam and Eve disobeyed God?
