We need a Squirrels Retreat

Now wouldn't that be fun?

Going on a retreat this weekend got me thinking about how much fun it would be for us to have one ourselves Can you imagine all of us in in one room together ?

Ok, here is the plan: We all fly out to Texas, bunk at Brad's house (my kids can babysit Helen and Chaz's kids ), Brad and Jesterhawk are in charge of preaching, I will do worship, Chaz powerpoint and the rest is free game to whoever wants to take on the task


Of course, we will have to fly in everyone who is out of the country.

And I will have to call to order all the many women on this board so we can torment the boys as necessary (or as they say PRN in the medical field ). Ruth Ann, how are you with shooting rubber bands across the room?

I need lead time, as I can not fly and would have to drive! Unlike Brad who can drive to WI in 12 hours it would take us four days! Hee Hee

Next thing we know, Brad will be getting a phone call at work from his wife that there a bunch of people outside his door:

One with a banjo (Bryan)
One with a cowboy hat and New Jersey accent (Jesterhawk)
An Australian (Luke)
Two scholars-one with a bible (Nik) and one with a Science Today magazine (Larry)
La Bonita Squirrel (Ruth Ann)
A cat (Kitty)
and a cute chick with a jersey accent (hehe just kidding)

Just to name a few. Those are the ones who will be the most obvious. If any of the rest of you have some ways to make yourself stand out, that may help Faith out as she describes the chaos at her front door, all carrying sleeping bags

no we were all in the structure, small group and that thing is pretty big in reality, fit close to 40 people in there

They drank the water, didn't they. Every body comes to Jersey to site see and have fun and hang out because it is the armpit of America. But then they drink the water and all that happy happy joy joy goes out the window when they wake up a squirrel or a two headed dog or glowing or something. Mere mortal human's bodies can't take the water there. They really should start issuing HazMat suites and bottled water to visitors when they come. It would make things much easier.

So, this is about an hour north of St. Louis.

I should say so! The only invariants in my road trip next summer, BTW, are that I must pass through Bryan, TX and the Grand Canyon, on my way to Northern California.
