They drank the water, didn't they. Every body comes to Jersey to site see and have fun and hang out because it is the armpit of America. But then they drink the water and all that happy happy joy joy goes out the window when they wake up a squirrel or a two headed dog or glowing or something. Mere mortal human's bodies can't take the water there. They really should start issuing HazMat suites and bottled water to visitors when they come. It would make things much easier.

I couldn't afford to do that. You know how much it would cost me to send 2 kids (one who is counted as an adult, maybe even both!) and the two of us on a plane trip?
We haven't even made our plans to visit my brother in law in Kilgore yet. Expensive!

It would have to be me, and maybe my husband if I can get someone to stay with my girls. If he can't go, then I can alone and make sure you boys behave

It would be really great! I heard that before I joined the Jennifer Knapp board, a bunch of boardies got together somewhere as a kind of JK boardie convention. They had stories to tell about that for years afterwards.

So, like, if we are serious about this, we should start planning now so that when the time comes everyone can have off from work and be able to come. It would be sooooooooooooooo cool. We would also need to find a place to have it. We even could make it a yearly retreat thing. We could probably get a good group rate at a hotel somewhere. That would be cool!!

The one thing that would work great for me is if we could somehow do something with the kids when the adults are doing their thing so that we can make it a family retreat.

I am not sure. We jest about so many things here sometimes it is hard to tell. But if we are, it could be something really cool...

I really would like there to be a retreat of some sort, although I started the thread kind of as a joke

I would do it if we plan it enough in advance I can put my time in for it next year (before I book up with clients!-I am already into December). My husband doesn't want to go, however. But that means I get a hotel room all to myself

Seriously, if you guys set something up even so we can just all meet, I am game

I would like to have the Squirrels retreat at a time that allows me to stop off while I am driving across the country to deliver one of our cars for my son to use his sophomore year in college. (And if we did that, Gracie, you could ride with us one way!) I am proposing sometime the last week of August or the first week in September 2008.

If I am in the country, I will find a way to be there. Texas is too far southwest for many of our east coast friends. But St Loiuse may not be perfect.... We might try Missouri or even Kansas.....

So will someone volunteer to put this together? Individual or comittee??
